HotDocs training for Child Support Agency

As a part of Early Office Infrastructure (EOI) a new software package has been introduced to improve Appeals writing in the Agency. Some staff from the Northern Ireland Appeals Team attended training sessions delivered by Seth Hanisek.

Seth is employed by Capsoft UK, the company that developed the package to include appeals templates. Although the templates need slight amendment before they can be used in Northern Ireland, they are currently up and running in the Central Appeals Unit (CAU) based at Lytham St Anne's, Lancashire.

Olive Skelly from the NI Appeals Team explained, "Feedback from the CAU has been very positive. The new templates mean a streamlined, automated approach to appeal writing resulting in a faster, more professional end product.

The new templates will quicken the process of writing appeals and as the NI appeals writers will soon start presenting appeals, they will have more time to concentrate on this new area of work".
