DLA to reveal all in transparency move-Legal IT Reports

According to IT director Daniel Pollick, DLA has decided to lay bare almost all its internal time recording and financial data procedures for each of its clients.

This move towards transparency - delivered via the firm's extranet - has set a precedent for its rivals. Clients will be able to drill down through the various levels of financial information to the raw time-recording data.

Other large-scale projects underway at DLA include extensive customisation of a drafting engine powered by HotDocs technology from Capsoft UK, a broad implementation of digital dictation systems and a workflow management initiative.
